Special Orders:
1) Special order products can not be returned.
2) All Philippine Statuary is considered special order and can not be returned.
3) Special orders can not be canceled after 36 hours.
4) Delays do happen on special orders from time to time due to circumstances beyond Our Lady Catholic Gifts control. This is not grounds for the customer to cancel the order or demand a refund.
5) In the event that a special order is made incorrect, Our Lady Catholic Gifts reserves the right to have the order reproduced to the correct specs. No refund will be given for an error done by a vendor. The incorrect order will be pickup and returned to the vendor.
6) No refunds will be given on any special order.
7) Payment is made up front for all special orders.
Shipping Policy for Special Orders:
1) Our Lady Catholic Gifts is not responsible for any taxes or duties when products are shipped into any country outside of the United States.
2) Inspect all cartons and note any damage or possible concealed damage on the freight bill prior to signing for receipt of or receiving the products. This will allow you the chance to refuse the item(s) if damaged or defective. Should you not have time to inspect; please sign the receipt as 'uninspected'' instead of your signature. By applying your signature, you are signing a document stating that you have inspected the item(s) and it (they) are in good condition. In this case, the claim must be filed by you with the freight company as we will have no recourse once an item(s) is/are signed for.
3) Should the product shipment be signed for and no notes are made indicating any possible or real damages, then the consumer of the product(s) becomes the legal owner of the merchandise and Our Lady Catholic Gifts, the seller, can no longer file a damage claim with the freight carrier and therefore any damage(s) would be yours to claim with the freight carrier, should any be realized.
4) Should product shipment damage(s) be noted on the freight bill, be certain the delivery driver signs the same receipt you do and you retain a copy of the signed documentation for your records.
5) Our Lady Catholic Gifts responsibility with respect to shipments made by common carrier ends with the issues of the bill of lading.
6) All Damaged Goods must be reported in writing within 24 hours of delivery to Our Lady Catholic Gifts. Pictures must be provided within 36 hours of delivery as to prove the product has been damaged or is defective. If notification in writing or pictures are not provided in the stated time period then the consumer of the product(s) becomes the legal owner of the merchandise.
7) Special orders originate with the artisans in the Philippines and will special made for you when you order. Because of this, please allow 10-12 weeks for delivery of your statue.
Returns:
1) Sally and Gough serve as representatives of Our Lady Catholic Gifts and personally inspects and guaranties all products to be free of defects before shipment. Any defective material received by a customer must be reported in writing within 24 hours after delivery. Pictures must be provided within 36 hours of delivery as to prove the product is defective. If notification in writing or pictures are not provided in the stated time period then the consumer of the product(s) becomes the legal owner of the merchandise. Our Lady Catholic Gifts will replace flawed material only after this product has been received by Our Lady Catholic Gifts and inspected. Customer must pay for the return shipment.
3) Our Lady Catholic Gifts reserves the right to charge a 25% restock charge on all returned product.
Refunds:
1) No refunds are given on special order products. All Philippine Statuary are special order and can not be returned.
2) No refund will be given on opened DVDs and CDs.
3) All refunds are paid by check.
4) Refund checks will be sent 5 - 15 business days after the product has been received and inspected by Our Lady Catholic Gifts.
5) Our Lady Catholic Gifts will not refund shipping costs on returned product that is not defective.
Refusal of Order:
1) Our Lady Catholic Gifts reserves the right to refuse any order.
2) Our Lady Catholic Gifts reserves the right to refuse credit card payments and request United States Money Orders or American Express Money Orders before any shipment is released.
